We are a small art collective based in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area. We offer original works of iconographic art created by our resident artists in the studio. Our creators come from a variety of art backgrounds- some with extensive professional training, and others who consider themselves folk artists in the spiritual tradition that is iconography.
We are aiming for a “farm-to-table” experience. In our wood shop we collect raw lumber to cut, sand and stain our own hardwood panels for the reproduction of classical icons and replicas of icons from antiquity. Then we hand paint each original piece on canvas in acrylic medium. Each one of our prints on canvas is produced in the studio by hand using a jelly printing or a transfer process.
The photo below shows our collection of original work displayed at the Last Word Tattoo Art Gallery in St. Cloud MN. We can’t thank the owner Chris Zlatic enough for hosting our show. We had great success with this experience. Each artist featured sold original pieces.
