After he was released, he continued his life of crime and robbery until he came across a colony of monks while attempting to evade the authorities. He was so impressed by their faith and contentment that he chose to repent and take up monastic life. His story proves that when we choose to walk the transformative path of the Lord, we can make any change, no matter how great.
